Thousands of Long Islanders were expected to take part in a coordinated “No Kings” Day of Defiance on June 14, with at least a dozen peaceful rallies across Nassau and Suffolk counties—from Mineola to Orient Point. The protests, aligned with a national movement of over 1,500 demonstrations, pushed back against rising authoritarianism, billionaire power, and economic inequality.
