Thousands join ‘No Kings’ protests across Long Island
On June 14, thousands across Long Island joined the nationwide “No Kings” protests—a Day of Defiance—marching peacefully from Mineola to Riverhead and beyond. Demonstrators rallied against what they saw as authoritarian overreach, standing up for democracy, immigrant protections, and civil liberties amid a day marked by rain and strong community turnout.
