Festival Bites: Five Towns College Students Dig Into Great South Bay’s Food Scene

Five Towns College students immersed themselves in the culinary offerings at the Great South Bay Music Festival in Patchogue. Between their broadcasting and production roles, they explored a diverse array of foods from local vendors. Favorites included classic cheeseburgers and fries from Frankies Famous, hot and honey shrimp from Lobster Rolls, and lobster fries topped with jalapeños. Students also enjoyed refreshing drinks like lemonade-tea blends from Subtle Tea and sweet treats such as peanut butter cookie dough ice from Ralph’s. The festival's food scene provided a delightful complement to the music, offering comfort, creativity, and a taste of Long Island's local flavors.
